HomeCloak vs Aura

Short version: Aura removes your name and address from people-search sites and broker lists. HomeCloak does that and also helps you remove the photos of your house, the MLS record they came from, and the street-level image of your front door. If your worry is your home, that difference is the whole decision.

Common questions

Is HomeCloak a replacement for Aura?
For most homeowners, yes. HomeCloak sends the same kind of deletion and opt-out requests to people-search sites and registered data brokers, and adds the home-specific removals Aura doesn't offer. If you only want personal-data removal and have no interest in your home's photos or map imagery, Aura is a fine choice.
Why is HomeCloak less expensive than the competition?
A few sites only accept requests from the homeowner: Street View blurs, the MLS, and Zillow's owner claim. Most services skip those. We include them as guided steps you do once, in about 45 minutes, and we automate everything else. We don't pay people to do what only you can do, and that's where the price difference comes from.
Does one plan cover my whole household?
Yes. Household members are included in every request, and one plan covers up to 3 properties. Aura charges per person.
