HomeCloak

Terms of Service

Effective date: September 2, 2026

Who we are and what you're agreeing to

HomeCloak is operated by HomeCloak, LLC, a Texas limited liability company. By creating an account or purchasing a service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What the service does — and honestly, what it can't guarantee

We submit removal and opt-out requests to third-party websites and data brokers on your behalf, prepare guided instructions for the sites that only accept requests from you directly, and track responses. We do not control those third parties. Whether, when, and how completely any site removes your information is ultimately that site's decision, and information can reappear as sites re-import public records. We promise a real, diligent process — not a guaranteed outcome. Where a site refuses or imposes limits, we tell you rather than hide it.

Your responsibilities

  • You may only request removals for properties you own or occupy, and for people in your own household who have authorized you to act for them. Submitting requests for a property or person you have no right to act for is a violation of these terms and may be unlawful.
  • Information you provide — your name, addresses, ownership documents, household members — must be accurate and genuine. Our verification exists to protect homeowners from exactly the kind of misuse a false submission would represent.
  • Keep your password secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.

Ownership documents and fraud

Every time you upload a utility bill, tax bill, deed, mortgage statement, or similar document, you certify that it is genuine and unaltered, that it was issued to you, and that you own or live at the address on it. Forged, edited, synthetic, or AI-generated documents, and documents that belong to someone else, are prohibited.

Our automated and human checks are a safeguard, not a guarantee, and we rely on your certification. If we determine or reasonably suspect that a document or request was false, we may suspend the account without refund, withdraw requests already sent, notify the affected websites and the person or property owner concerned, preserve the file, your account details, and connection records, and provide them to law enforcement or to a party harmed by the submission. You are solely responsible for any request we send in reliance on information you provided.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HomeCloak, LLC, its owner, and its contractors from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising from a document or information you submitted that was false, altered, or not yours to submit, or from a request you asked us to make for a property or person you had no right to act for.

Acting as your authorized agent

When you purchase a removal service, you authorize HomeCloak, LLC to act as your agent for the limited purpose of submitting privacy, opt-out, and deletion requests to third parties in your name, and to receive and process their replies. You can revoke this by closing your account; requests already sent remain sent.

Purchases, monitoring, and refunds

  • HomeCloak is a subscription, billed annually, covering up to three properties. Our process begins the moment payment completes and requests go to third parties immediately — and we stand behind it: your first payment carries a 60-day money-back guarantee. If, within 60 days, you're not satisfied for any reason, email privacy@homecloak.us from your account email and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked. Requests already sent can't be un-sent, and removals already completed stay completed. Customers who bought one-time products before September 2026 keep them.
  • You can cancel anytime; cancellation stops future charges and the ongoing re-filing at the end of the paid period. Removals already completed stay completed. New sites we add are requested for your properties only while the subscription is active.
  • Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases.

Guided steps and third-party sites

Some steps (for example, map-imagery blur requests, or portals that verify your identity directly) can only be completed by you. We provide instructions in good faith based on those sites' current processes; sites change their processes without notice, and we update our guidance as we learn of changes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HomeCloak, LLC's total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for the actions or inactions of third-party websites, data brokers, map services, or multiple listing services, or for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the consequences of documents or information you provided that were false, altered, or not yours to submit. The service is provided "as is."

Account termination

You can close your account anytime by contacting us. We may suspend or close accounts used in violation of these terms — in particular, any attempt to submit requests for properties or people you aren't entitled to act for.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted by updating the effective date and, where significant, by email. Questions: privacy@homecloak.us. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
